Certification contribution by module

Every criterion in LEED, BREEAM, DGNB and VERDE that a live C4B module contributes to, with the value the scheme attaches to it.

Last reviewed23 October 2026

What the symbols mean

  • (+)
Can contribute towards points or creditsThe module delivers some or all of the analysis or evidence the criterion is scored on.
  • →
Provides design directionThe module shapes the design decision; the credit is earned once the team develops the design in detail and documents it.
  • •
Provides the data basisThe module supplies some or all of the underlying data; the team interprets it and produces the evidence required to claim the point.
  • –
No contributionNothing in this scheme that the module speaks to.

How to read this table

  • Values in brackets are what the scheme itself attaches to the criterion: LEED points out of 110, BREEAM credits (standard + exemplary), DGNB criterion points with the weighted share of the certificate, and the VERDE share of the final score.
  • Partial scope means the module supports part of what the criterion asks for; the rest sits outside the platform.
  • Values recur down a column because a criterion appears against every module that feeds it. They are ceilings on what C4B contributes towards, not points the platform awards: every credit is earned by the design team and reviewed by the assessor.
  • Strongest contribution: where a module contributes in more than one way to the same scheme, the symbol shows the strongest. A cell marked (+) also informs the design; one marked → also supplies data.
